Jewel had been hanging around a place of business (In Tomball) for about 2 weeks And then she had her 10 babies underneath one of their buildings The business could not find any group to come get them. It just so happened that Jewel was wondering around an Academy parking lot looking for food, when a young girl found her-took her across the street to Banfield to see if she had a microchip. Of course she didn't-so back to the parking lot they went and then the mama led the girl to her puppies. So we contacted the business the next day and of course they welcomed us to come get them s the mama was getting aggressive protecting her babies. They were going to have call the county animal control which would have been a death sentence to them all. Now that mama and puppies are safe and being fed-she isn't so protective off them.
